I did not
receive the confirmation email that allows
me to register on your site
Sometimes
an email program will block an unknown
email if you do not add the sender to
your "safelist". Common email
accounts with this option are Bellsouth,
Yahoo! and MindSpring. To correct this,
please add the email address: gina@10realty.com
to your safe list.
If
you have added us to your "safe list"
and still do not receive the confirmation
email, please contact
us.

I cannot list my property. I get an error
message.
Solution
1:
If
you try to upload photos that are too big
(more than 350KB) or the wrong format (anything
other than .jpeg or .jpg), the program may
give you errors. Try to enter your listing
without photos first. We will gladly fix
your photos for you at no charge. Email
them to gina@10realty.com.
Be sure to include the property's address
so we can match them to the correct property.
Solution
2:
Sometimes
we run across browser compatibility issues.
95% of web users use Internet Explorer,
Firefox or AOL on a PC. So the site is designed
for these users. Safari browsers on a Apple
Macintosh give unexpected results sometimes.
If you are using Safari, please open your
Internet Explorer to list your property.
Please contact
us if you are using a browser other
than the above and we will try to accommodate
you.

What is Home Page Featured?
With a Home Page Featured Listing, your
listing will be selected randomly to be
shown on the main page of 10Realty.com.
It is the highest amount of visibility you
can get for your property on this site.
Simply put, a home page feature ad will
attract more attention to your listing.
Our statistics show that properties featured
on our Home Page may receive up to 4 times
the number of page visits than properties
not on the home page. The cost is $20.00
to show your listing on the Home Page for
6 months.

What text should I put for my description?
Highlight the best features of your home.
What were some things that made you purchase
it? Always include the number of bedrooms
and baths, square footage, and lot size.
Be very descriptive. It's always best to
give too much detail than too little. And
don't worry if you don't have all the information
at that time. You can always go back and
make changes to your listing as you need
to. But most importantly, don't forget to
include a phone number so potential buyers
can call you.

Can
I include a link to other websites?
Yes. We encourage multiple advertising for
your property for sale. If you have additional
information or photos on another website,
please feel free to include a link in your
description.

I
am an Agent. Can I advertise my homes?
If
you are an agent who is selling a home
or other real estate as an owner-agent,
then YES you can advertise your real estate
property on 10Realty.com because the home
is still for sale by owner. Real estate
investors and house "flippers"
can also advertise homes and properties
they own on 10Realty.com. If you are an
agent and are representing a seller, then
you would not be able to advertise your
home.

Do I need to add photos to my listing?
A photo is not required for a listing. However,
our statistics show that listings with photos
receive as much as ten times the number
of visits than a listing without a photo
receives. Real Estate is a very competitive
and visual market. If you do not have a
digital photo and would like for us to scan
your photo(s) for you, mail your photo(s)
to:
10Realty.com
2121 Cottage Row Lane
Knoxville, TN 37922
($5.00/per photo fee applies) Be sure to
include the property for sale's address
and a self-addressed stamped envelope if
you would like your photos to be returned.

What kinds of digital photos can I upload?
JPEG photos work best. They
are compressed while still maintaining the
image's integrity. EPS, Tiff, Bitmap and
PNG graphics can be used but do not compress
as easily, therefore making the download
time much longer. Images no larger than
350KB work best. Make sure your images are
no wider than 800 pixels. Most monitors
are only set to 840 pixels wide and the
site visitors would have to scroll to see
images any larger.
You
can also upload plat images, house plan
images, etc... as long as they are .jpeg
or .jpg graphics. E-mail your images
to gina@10realty.com
if they are not in this format. We would
be happy to correct them for you. Be sure
to include the property's address in the
e-mail.

How do I change the order of my images?
The first image uploaded
will be the main image on your listing.
The easiest way to correct the order of
your images is to delete all images and
then re-upload them.
